The German market is clearly of crucial importance in the European expansion strategy of Moxy, the lifestyle brand unveiled in 2013 by the Marriott hotel group. After having inaugurated last April in Munich a strategic address for business travellers on the airport site, it's Frankfurt's turn to have a Moxy establishment. Frankfurt, or to be more precise Eschborn, a fifteen-minute drive to the north-west of the German metropolis, is now home to a new Moxy hotel. 176 rooms. One of the highlights of the Moxy Frankfurt Eschborn is the self-service restaurant offering 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Business travellers will be able to stock up on local specialities such as Spätzle and Sauerbraten, as well as coffee and fresh juices, whatever their schedule. The new establishment, which opened this summer, also boasts a flexible meeting room with access to natural light.

The modern positioning of the brand, which aims to focus on the new generation of travellers with a quirky touch, is also reflected in this meeting space. The meeting table can be transformed into a game of shuffleboard, for a fun-filled evening. a fun break between two brainstorming sessions... " Moxy hotels are on a mission to rethink the hotel experience (...) and focus on the services that millennials expect most "says Vicki Poulos, brand manager of Moxy Hotels. Moxy is not stopping there in Germany, and will soon be making it three in a row: the Marriott group brand will be setting up in Berlin Ostbahnhof this year, before doing the same in Frankfurt later next year. Aberdeen airport will also see a representative of the brand land this year, while London, Oslo and Vienna will be the next destinations to join Moxy's European catalogue during 2017.
