What are the destination's strengths?

Patricia Rasse - I immediately think of the elegance of the resort and the performance of its infrastructure, both hotel and sports facilities. There's also the quality of its welcome, reflected in a customer satisfaction rate of 98% and a high loyalty rate. Le Touquet-Paris-Plage is a magnificent playground set between sea, forest and countryside, offering an impressive diversity of locations and outdoor activities. Add to this a unique geographical location, just 2h30 from Paris, London and Brussels.

How are visitor numbers changing?

P. R. - The results have been positive, and our new, innovative promotional approach has played a large part in this success.

What projects are underway?

P. R. - To meet the needs of Mice customers, the town council has decided to renovate the entire convention centre. Its British and Art Deco charm will be preserved, but a new 1,200 to 1,500-seat multi-purpose hall for conferences and shows will be built alongside it. This extension will double the venue's capacity. Spacious and flexible, this new, revamped Convention Centre will be able to host several events simultaneously. Delivery is scheduled for spring 2019. A number of hotel projects will also be added to the facilities on offer in Touquet.
