Private flat rental, concierge services, top-of-the-range restaurants with the possible takeover of Potel & Chabot: there is no end to thehe new playgrounds of AccorHotels. Its strategy of diversifying its activities now includes events and the world of nightlife. The hotel group is preparing to buy the minority stake in the Noctis group held by the Fonds de Consolidation et de Développement des Entreprises.
Founded in 2008 by Laurent de Gourcuff, Noctis organises more than 3,000 events a year, focusing on three areas: the marketing of reception venues, catering in top-of-the-range venues and a range of festive establishments in key districts of Paris. To its credit iconic locations such as Castel, Rasputin, Monsieur Bleu, Loulou, Pavillons des Etangs and YOYO. Three new addresses are due to be added to these in 2017: Château de Longchamp and Restaurant Girafe, both in the 16th arrondissement, and Le Dernier Etage, in the 18th arrondissement. The Group is also looking to develop international brands such as Rasputin.
Laurent de Gourcuff sees this acquisition of a stake in AccorHotels as ".a decisive step"to accompany Noctisin our ambitious development". For his part, Sébastien Bazin, CEO of AccorHotels, believes that "This alliance is part of AccorHotels' transformation and acceleration plan to meet the new needs of an increasingly demanding clientele beyond the travel industry. The complementary nature of our expertise and the potential of our respective assets will enable us to seize opportunities for growth and synergies in France and abroad."
