Meetings "just like at home": this is the philosophy behind the new meetings area recently opened in the Novotel Lyon Gerland Musée des Confluences. This 100 m²which can accommodate up to 35 people and designed in the spirit of a loft, has been given the logical name of N'Loft. " The Novotel Lyon Gerland Musée des Confluences wanted to break the mould of existing Meeting & Convention facilities by offering a unique and informal space that is both elegant and modern, a far cry from the usual meeting rooms. "explains the recently published press release.
So the establishment's managers have swapped traditional tables and chairs for armchairs, cushions and high stools, and installed a good stock of poufs on the mezzanine. The aim is to encourage people to share and exchange ideas. This new N'Loft space has also provided recreational areas, like this vintage arcade terminal featuring 650 must-have games (Pacman, Sonic, Street Fighter...), or the more modern virtual reality.
The new space also boasts an open kitchen, where a home chef is on hand to welcome guests for a team-building cooking class. The spaces dedicated to more studious moments are organised around two 33m² lounges and a third 18m² space.
N'Loft in detail:
- A 62 m² room
- An 18 m² kitchen
- A 20 m² mezzanine
- 3 other spaces of 18 m² and two times 33m², extending the available surface area to 184 m².
- Sound system and video projector with click & share system available
