To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the release of the first iPhone, Apple is preparing to launch a new Premium model, dubbed the iPhone X. It will be based on a 5.8-inch (2436 x 1125 pixels, at 458 ppi) OLED screen with no edges or physical buttons, and an insolent contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.
Resistant to dust and splashes (IP67), this top-of-the-range smartphone benefits above all from the latest 64-bit A11 Bionic processor combined with 3 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage in its most advanced version.
It also offers a Face ID facial recognition systemIt also boasts a dual 12 MP photo sensor with an optically stabilised telephoto lens, plus a 2700 mAh battery that can be recharged wirelessly, giving it 2 hours more battery life than the iPhone 7.
Measuring just 7.7 mm thick, it also allows for the capture of 4K video with optical stabilisation and noise reduction. It also incorporates a range of circuits dedicated to geolocation (GPS, Glonass, Galileo, QZSS, digital compass, WiFi ac dual band, 4G LTE, iBeacon microlocation). A number of sensors have also been integrated, including a barometer, accelerometer, proximity detector and ambient light sensor.
So many little details that make this iPhone X one of the most complete and powerful smartphones on the market. Not to mention the fact that it runs on iOS 11, which features a new Dock, smoother multitasking and a redesigned QuickType keyboard.
