You set up the AACC in October 2006. What is the nature of this club?
The main objective is to pool the functions of decision-maker and prescriber in business tourism, by bringing together members who are truly invested with this mission within their company, whatever their job title. With a few exceptions due to their representative nature, our members are exclusively from large groups. This is the platform for exchanges between business tourism buyers.
What services do you offer your members?
First of all, we provide them with support and a pavilion at major trade events offering a hosted buyers programme, such as the BTC in Rome, EIBTM in Barcelona and IMEX in Frankfurt. We also organise eductours and fam trips. Finally, we offer Meetings to enable members to get in touch with a range of service providers: websites, agencies and technical service providers.
Where will the next Rencontres be held?
13 and 14 March 2008 at the Golden Tulip Carthage Tunis. These two days, organised in partnership with the Tunisian Tourist Office, will provide members with a series of pre-arranged meetings with participating service providers. There will be a large number of local service providers, as well as French and/or global players, such as the Stade de France, Paris-Nord Villepinte, Accor, Novelty, Westminster, etc. As the Meetings take place on Friday afternoon, we are offering several post-conference options, including a discovery weekend in Tozeur, Djerba, Tunis or Hammamet.
