The Rezidor group has announced the forthcoming opening of six new hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. First on the list, the Radisson Blu Beirut Verdun opened its doors in December and joins the Radisson Blu Martinez, already present in the Lebanese capital. Located in the Verdun district, the establishment just renovated has 127 rooms and suites and meeting facilities for up to 600 people, including a conference room and five meeting rooms.
In the first quarter of 2018, it will be the turn of the mid-range Park Inn by Radisson brand to open in Katowice, Poland. Located in the city centre and not far from the conference centre, the hotel will offer 168 rooms, a restaurant and extensive meeting facilities, including a 370 m2 function room.
The Radisson Blu brand, very present in Africawill be adding a new country to its offering on this continent, Cameroon, with the opening in 2019 of a 150-room hotel at Douala. Other expected establishments are a Radisson Blu resort in Georgia, in the ski resort of Gudari, and two new Park Inn by Radisson in Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh and Dammam. Scheduled for completion by the end of 2019, the Park Inn by Radisson Riyadh Olaya North and Dammam West Avenue will both have 200 rooms and 100 long-stay flats.
