EasyJet connects Berlin to the South of France

This summer EasyJet will be launching three new routes between Berlin and the airports of Biarritz, Montpellier and Nice, aimed at business customers.

While the project for the new Berlin is constantly postponed, it is since the platform of Tegel that easyJet is preparing to launch new flights to the French market. The airline said on Tuesday that new flights would soon be launched to three airports in the south of the country, namely Biarritz, Montpellier and Nice.

In total, no fewer than 34,200 seats which will be offered during the summer between Berlin and the three cities. The airport of Montpellier will be favoured by easyJet, with three weekly rotations in the programme unveiled by the airline, compared with two to Nice and Biarritz.

With these new flights, easyJet is explicitly targeting business travellers, as the airline's management indicated in the press release: " This announcement should delight business travellers which represent 22% of easyJet passengers in France. As a result, the people of Nice will benefit all year round from 2 weekly flights to Berlin-Tegel, the airport closest to the German capital's business centre, in addition to the daily flights to Berlin-Schönefeldto combine the best timetables "it says.
