Mama Shelter will be making its London debut in 2019-2020. Property investor Crosstree has just awarded the brand founded by the Trigano family management of a recently acquired 178-room establishment in Shoreditch. Before becoming part of Mama Shelter, the RE Hotel will embark on a renovation programme led by the French design agency Dion & Arles. "The RE Hotel offers us the opportunity to create a new hotel destination in a dynamic and fast-growing district."Will Dear, director of the real estate arm of the wealth manager of Swiss-Italian pharmaceutical billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli, who is also supporting the development of The Standard hotel in London, the trendy brand owned by André Balazs.
With this project, Mama Shelter continues to expand internationally, New openings are already expected in Belgrade in March, as well as in Prague in spring 2018, followed by Lisbon and Dubai in 2019 and Luxembourg in 2020. At the same time, other hotels will have joined the Mama Shelter network in France, in Toulouse, Lille and Paris, with a new hotel as part of the transformation of the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre.
