
Business travellers heading for Sydney will soon have access to a revamped business lounge. Qantas has announced the 22 February that a multi-million dollar renovation plan was to be launched in the airline's Business Lounge. The design of the new space, conceived by David Caon and the firm Bates SmartThe renovation will significantly increase the capacity of the airport. In addition, the refurbishment will result in a significant increase in capacity of up to 30% additional seating capacity. Qantas is also planning to improve its culinary offering for business travellers by entrusting the keys to the kitchen to Australian chef Neil Perry.
