Joon is expanding its range of flights with a daily service to Mumbai (Bombay). The new Air-France KLM airline will take over operation of the route between Paris and the Indian business capital from 18 June. Departures from Paris are at 11.40am for an arrival in Mumbai at 00.05am the following morning, where passengers will find numerous connecting options in Mumbai to 44 Indian destinations as part of the cooperation agreement between Air France-KLM and the Indian airline Jet Airways. On the return leg, the flight departs from India at 1.55am, landing at 8.05am.
All these flights are operated in Airbus A340s equipped with new Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins. Passengers can enjoy a selection of around one hundred films on individual touch screens in each seat, in addition to the free YouJoon streaming service, available on the passenger's smartphone, tablet or computer. In terms of catering, full meals are served in every class, with a more pronounced gastronomic accent in Business.
Business passengers and Gold and Platinum members of the Flying Blue frequent flyer programme have access to Air France lounges and enjoy SkyPriority benefits at check-in and boarding.
With a fleet of 15 aircraft in operation by summer 2018, Air France's new-generation airline will offer up to 235 flights a week to 14 destinations from Paris-CDG: Barcelona, Berlin, Istanbul, Lisbon, Naples, Oslo, Porto and Rome on the medium-haul network, and Fortaleza, Cairo, Cape Town, Mahé, Teheran and Mumbai on the long-haul network.
