
Partly unveiled last JanuaryAir France's new Business lounge in Hall L of terminal 2E at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport is now fully open to business travellers. With a total surface area of 3,200 m², compared with 2180 m² accessible to the public until now, With a capacity of 540 seats, this completely redesigned lounge is all about comfort and well-being. Conceived by designer Mathieu Lehanneur as a timeless space, the exclusive "Le Balcon" area features a central bar surrounded by loges where passengers can sit comfortably facing the slopes in a unique and welcoming architectural setting.
Every evening, from 7pm to 9pm, a selection of cocktails specially devised by the head barmaid at the Hôtel Lancaster-Paris is offered, including a cocktail specially created for Air France, "Un air de Paris", made with champagne and Cointreau, as well as a "Destination" cocktail of the month, inspired by the flavours of Air France's emblematic ports of call.
On the catering side, Air France offers a "La Table Gourmet" area in its lounge, where a chef prepares the dish of the day in front of customers. At the same time, a self-service offer includes seasonal flavours, both hot and cold, while the selection of wines and champagnes is prepared by Paolo Basso, the world's best sommelier in 2013.
Above all, this new lounge boasts the largest wellness area in the world offered by Air France lounges, with over 550 sq. m. of space featuring an "Instant Relaxation" area with deckchairs, a detox bar, a Clarins spa dedicated to facial treatments, two saunas and vast showers. But the Business Lounge in Hall L is also a great place to work, with a private area called "Le Club", where you can get away from it all or meet up in a warm atmosphere, and two vast coworking tables equipped with individual sockets for working in complete serenity.
