How to get there

With seven direct flights a day, the Paris-Bucharest route is very well served. As partners in the SkyTeam alliance, Air France and the Romanian airline Tarom offer code-share flights from Paris CDG to Henri Coanda international airport in Otopeni, 17 kilometres from Bucharest, four times daily. In the opposite direction, five flights are offered.

Bucharest is also served by two low-cost carriers departing from Paris Beauvais. Hungarian carrier Wizz Air offers a daily flight, while Romanian carrier Blue Air offers six flights a week, every day except Tuesday.

The Romanian capital is also linked to several major regional cities. Nice is linked to Bucharest by Tarom (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, in partnership with Air France), Wizz Air (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) and Blue Air (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays). The Romanian low-cost carrier Blue Air also offers flights to Bucharest from Lyon and Bordeaux on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

This Mediterranean-influenced restaurant is a gastronomic landmark in Bucharest's Downtown. Located behind the Athénée Roumain (the Bucharest Philharmonic), this casual brasserie promises refined cuisine at affordable prices.
