Its real advantage? Its location, right on the urban beach of Las Canteras, 20 minutes from the centre of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The eight-storey building - built in the late 60s, giving it a certain charm - was completely renovated in 1996. The 225 rooms are spacious and all have balconies, some overlooking the sea. There is a magnificent spa, a rooftop swimming pool and two restaurants serving Spanish cuisine. Four meeting rooms, for up to 450 people in cocktail format.

Maspalomas

Lopesan Costa Meloneras

Everything about it is gigantic: the lobby, of course, which you'd love to skateboard through, but above all the lagoon-like swimming pool, the blue of which merges with that of the sea. Quite simply, it's all you can see. The rest is the same, including the park, generously planted with trees, like a tropical garden, where a few large, plump cats pass between the deckchairs. The building itself, despite its size, is an architectural success, with its high wooden balconies echoing elements of the Canarian decor. Every evening, a different show, always of the highest quality, is put on by the pool. Despite its size, worthy of a Las Vegas hotel, the complex is quite chic. 1136 rooms, five restaurants, four bars, meeting room for 500 people in a theatre that can be divided into five different rooms for 100 people.
