CWT recently announced its intention to develop its accessible airline reservation service. on your mobile from myCWT. Tested at the beginning of 2017, this service has been on the market since the second quarter of 2018 and will soon be available to travellers in many countries, including Francethe United States and the United Kingdom.
This booking service is based on the GDSs, giving travellers access to flights on all airlines and to fares negotiated by their company. According to initial tests, it takes just 60 seconds to book a flight, a real time-saver for travellers. What's more, the 30 % of bookings usually made with travel agents, are now made from a smartphone.
CWT has also developed features to help professionals save money: the application alerts them when best time to buy their ticket, and a function that gives them access to the cheapest flights over a 24-hour period.
Mobile booking is just one of the many features of the myCWT application already used by 1.2 million passengers. In particular, it can be used to receive notifications of flight delays or cancellations, gate changes and security alerts. Travellers can also book a hotel or synchronise their calendar directly on myCWT.
