While airlinesthe alliances and airports regularly review the layout of their lounges, theManchester airport is thinking bigger. The UK platform has just unveiled its new project, called PremiAir a fourth, privately-owned terminal, which will guarantee travellers a high standard of service. " Private Jet experience" from the mid-2019.

The programme for this premium terminal includes a personalised welcome, accelerated baggage handling, a lounge with free catering, a dedicated security check and transfer by private car to the aircraft. A range of services available on both the outward and return journeys. The design of this PremiAir terminal was entrusted to Jacobs.

" No other major UK airport offers such a private terminal option available to passengers on a 'pay-as-you-go' basis. These facilities are often reserved for passengers in business or first classor to certain airlines, usually at a substantial additional cost "These are the words of the PremiAir project managers in a press release. Indeed, the originality of the concept supported by Manchester airport lies in its accessible approach to top-of-the-range travel, insofar as travellers will be able to take advantage of these facilities from as little as 57 euros (50 pounds), whatever their class of travel.
Any other airports in the pipeline?
