Air Astana's new Airbus A321LR will connect Paris to Almaty three times a week

Business travellers used to transiting via theAstana for their travel in Central Asia are going to have to review their flight plans. Five years after its arrival on the Paris-Astana route, the Kazakh airline has decided to transfer its operations from the current administrative capital to the historic centre of Kazakhstan: Almaty. Next June, Air Astana will be operating three flights a week since Paris CDGevery Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Flights will leave Paris at 7.20pm, arriving at Almaty airport at 6.35am. On the return journey, all new Airbus A321LR - it joined the Air Astana fleet last October - will take off at 14:15 for an arrival in Paris at 18:00. This reorganisation should improve connectivity offered to business travellers on stopovers, with optimised connections not only on the domestic network to Nur-Sultan and Shymkent, but also internationally to destinations such as Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) and Dushanbe (Tajikistan).
