The date for the reopening of the Hôtel Barrière Le Westminster in Le Touquet is now known. This jewel of the seaside resort of Hauts-de-France will reopen its doors on 25 September following a major renovation project begun in December last year. Initially scheduled to last six months, the work took a little longer due to confinement, but is now nearing completion. The brief given to architect-decorator Bruno Borrione, who is in charge of the new décor, is: "To create a new atmosphere, a new sense of place. re-enchanting Westminster!".
Built in 1924, this symbol of "Touquet chic of the Roaring Twenties has preserved the memory of its past, its Anglo-Norman Art Deco world, but has given itself a new modernity marked by classicism.
