Like most hotel groups, NH Hotel is rolling out redesigned sanitary protocols in all its hotels. In this context, the Spanish group, now part of Minor Hotelshas teamed up with one of the world's leading certification and inspection companies, the Swiss company SGS, to build the Feel Safe at NH programme. This project revolves around 10 operational promises, ranging from health inspection certificates for each establishment to cleaning protocols and air and water purification, as well as rules for social distancing with appropriate signage and an advisory role on the destination's hospitals and pharmacies.

Gels, masks, Plexiglas screens, pedal bins: the whole arsenal of solutions to combat the pandemic is obviously de rigueur. In terms of catering, while buffet and snack stations are being phased out, in-room, à la carte and takeaway services are being encouraged. A breakfast box is offered in NH Collection hotels. In addition, a digital reservation system has been introduced for restaurants to ensure availability and social remoteness.

Because, to limit contact, the Feel Safe at NH programme also includes a digital component, based on the FastPass solution. Launched two years ago, this mobile application already offered guests the option of checking in and out digitally, in addition to choosing their room. In addition, a mobile platform allows guests to access all hotel information from their smartphone, order and use room service, and interact with hotel staff via an instant communication channel based on the main applications in the field.

NH Hotel has also adapted its meeting and event experience. In terms of security, each participant receives a kit with gloves, mask and disinfectant gel. The rooms are sanitised after each event, as well as during breaks. The catering offer includes lunchboxes and individual water bottles, while coffee and snacks during breaks are provided by a waiter at all times.

While the configuration and capacity of rooms can be revised to respect safety distances, NH Hotel offers organisers the possibility of designing meeting venues in advance. The bandwidth has also been increased to integrate with the events of the future.irtual experiences and enable participants to hold meetings remotely.
