Radisson Hotel: luxury in Brussels and hybrid rooms and meetings

The Radisson Hotel Group has unveiled a new Radisson Collection luxury hotel in Brussels, featuring hybrid rooms and meeting rooms.

It was one of the brand's flagship hotels Radisson Blu in Brussels. It is now the new flagship of the luxury brand Radisson Collection. The former Radisson Blu Royal, transformed by architect Rafael de La Hoz, has reopened its doors, elevated to the rank of Radisson Collection, Grand Place Brussels. It joins the prestigious Strand Hotel in Stockholm, the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and the Palazzo Montemartini in Rome, while new developments are in the pipeline, notably in Milan, with the conversion of the Touring Club Italiano headquarters into a 93-room hotel, in Paris La Défense, in the future Sisters towers, and in Lyon, with the takeover of the Cour des Loges.

Sophisticated, elegant designThe 282 rooms of the Radisson Collection, Grand Place Brussels and the public areas have been completely renovated and redesigned in a contemporary style. The restaurant offering has also evolved, replacing the Sea Grill, one of the Belgian capital's best-known restaurants, with the Stoke Grand Place, specialising in grilled meats, and Shanghai Kitchen, focusing on Chinese cuisine. The hotel also boasts an executive lounge, a presidential suite, a fitness centre and 18 contemporary meeting rooms.

The unveiling of this new establishment was an opportunity for the Radisson Hotel Group to announce the launch of its new hybrid rooms - for remote working - and hybrid meetings, with everything you need to mix face-to-face and virtual work. In effect, hybrid rooms combine the comfort of a top-of-the-range hotel room with the facilities of a state-of-the-art office, complete with keyboard, mouse, Bluetooth speakerphone, USB and HDMI ports, all facilitating connectivity to a second screen for videoconferencing. This is complemented by printing and stationery services, as well as unlimited coffee and tea, access to on-site wellness facilities and the possibility of packages including breakfast, early check-in or late check-out.

For their part high-tech meetings The conference rooms offered by the Radisson Hotel ose group feature an image, sound and video conferencing system developed by Logitech, dual screens, a wireless presentation clicker and, of course, a high-speed Internet connection. To enable hybrid and even multi-site events, Radisson has teamed up with Zoom to offer its customers a seamless experience during their meetings and events. Visit deployment of these hybrid solutionsalready available in 50 hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, will continue in 2020 and 2021.
