In the end, the association's assets found a buyer: its main 'rival', GBTAannounced on 24 November that it had completed the transaction. The merger of the two business travel associations is already reflected in the organisation chart. Two former ACTE board members have already joined the GBTA board. What remains to be done, however, is to define how best to exploit the synergies between the two structures: a task that will fall to the committee headed by Christle Johnson and Greeley Koch, respectively President of the GBTA and former Executive Director of ACTE.
