Air France is continuing to strengthen its long-haul routes. From 29 October 2023, the airline will be offering a new route between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Abu Dhabithe capital of the United Arab Emirates.
The daily flight will be operated by Airbus A350-900 with a capacity of 324 seats (34 in Business cabin, 24 in Premium Economy and 266 in Economy). The flight will depart from CDG at 9.15pm and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 6.45am the following day. From Abu Dhabi, the flight will take off at 08:45 for an arrival at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 13:15.
Lhe airline will be competing head-on with the Abu Dhabi carrier, Etihad Airways. It also offers a daily flight departing from CDG at 10.25am.
From 30 October 2023, Air France will also be adding a new destination to its network in the United States. Raleigh-Durham (RDU) will become the 14th destination forAir France in the United States this winter.
The carrier will offer three weekly frequencies to the North Carolina capital every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.. The flights will be operated by a Boeing 787-9 with a capacity of 279 seats (30 in Business, 21 in Premium Economy and 228 in Economy). The aircraft will take off from CDG at 13:30, arriving in Raleigh-Durham at 16:35. On the return leg, the flight will leave Raleigh at 18:45 for an arrival at 08:25. Little known to French visitors - the city offers few tourist attractions - Raleigh is a major business destination. It is at the heart of the "Research Triangle".the second-largest high-tech and IT research centre in the United States after Silicon Valley.
In addition to Raleigh-Durham, Air France also serves Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK and Newark, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington DC.
