Air France has resolved its crisis and avoided a turbulent month of May: on Friday 2 May, the airline issued a press release stating that "Following the lifting of the strike notice by the SNPL National, voted by more than 95% at its National Council, Air France welcomes the pilots' decision and confirms the return to normal operations". "This is excellent news for customers and Air France staff alike," stressed Frédéric Gagey. The Air France Chairman and CEO added: "All the airline's teams have been working hard, in an ultra-competitive environment, to adapt our ways of working and offer a better product and a better service to every passenger. Air France can now devote all its energies to continuing its recovery".
