Air India and SNCF announced on 18 April the signature of a bimodal partnership, which will enable the Indian carrier to integrate the TGV AIR network. In practical terms, business and leisure travellers alike have access to a pre- and post-carriage to one of the 77 destinations served by the airline from Paris-Charles de Gaulle station. Passengers can collect their ticket from the dedicated counter at their station up to 20 minutes before the train's departure, and then go to the Terminal 2C of the Paris hub. The timetables have been defined to guarantee passengers a smooth transition from rail to air. However, in the event of disruption, the partnership guarantees continuity of service.

" This strategic agreement will enable Air India toexpand its network throughout France. This new service responds to a growing demand and should enable us to win over new customers in the provinces. This move is in line with the company's development strategy, which is currently upgrading its range of services, including the acquisition of new aircraft such as the Dreamliner 787 and the renovation of its Delhi hub ".
