The agreement between Air Tahiti and Air Tahiti Nui, signed on 22 December 2025, marks an important step in the strengthening of services to the Pacific islands. The aim is to simplify travel for international passengers, initially to Bora Bora and Rarotonga.
From 2 June 2026, Air Tahiti Nui will be able to use its TN code on a selection of flights operated by Air Tahiti, enabling customers to be sold a single ticket from their international point of departure - including Paris, Auckland, Tokyo or Los Angeles - to their final destination.
Initially, the agreement covers two emblematic destinations:
- Bora Bora, with up to 6 daily flights,
- Rarotonga (Cook Islands), with 2 flights a week
These inter-island routes are operated by an Air Tahiti ATR 72.
Thanks to this partnership, Air Tahiti Nui passengers will benefit from improved route continuity, simplified connection management and easier access to some of the most popular destinations in the South Pacific. For the management of the two airlines, " This agreement marks a new stage in the close commercial cooperation between Air Tahiti Nui and Air Tahiti, which began several years ago. ".
This new agreement is part of Air Tahiti Nui's strategy to strengthen the attractiveness of its international network, while optimizing connections to key destinations in the region.
