The link between Nouméa and Paris via Bangkokcurrently scheduled for 2 flights a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, will benefit from this new service. additional frequency every Mondayfrom 17 November. The flight will take off from Paris at 8.30pm, landing in Bangkok at 4.25pm and in Noumea at 6.30am.. On the return leg, the flight will leave at 01:30 for an arrival in Bangkok at 7:40. The plane will take off two hours later for an arrival in Paris at 17:00.
This route, which is still the longest in the world with a single stopover and no load interruption, is the fastest flight between mainland France and the United States. New Caledonia. However, the journey time is 24 to 25 hours depending on the direction. The flight is carried out on a Airbus A330-900neo. The carrier will receive its first Airbus A350-900neo in 2026. This aircraft will then be put into service from Paris.
Aircalin represents almost all international air services to Nouméa
With the opening of this line and now the increase in its frequency, Aircalin reaffirms its commitment to linking New Caledonia to mainland France and the rest of the world.
In fact, the company has also confirmed its offer of flights between Noumea and Singapore with two to three weekly frequencies. These frequencies may even be increased during periods of high demand at the end of the year. In codeshare with Air France, partial adjustments will be made in line with the current programme, in order to operate aligned schedules on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, while ensuring the usual connections to Aircalin's partners at Singapore.
In the Pacific, Aircalin will launch on 12 December a weekly non-stop service between Noumea and Papeeteoperated by A330neo every Friday. This is in addition to an existing service via Nadi (Fiji), which will continue on Tuesdays until January 2026. Aircalin also continues to serve Australia six times a week (three times a week to Brisbane and Sydney), Auckland (New Zealand), Port-Vila (Vanuatu) and Wallis and Futuna.
At the moment, Aircalin has a virtual monopoly on air services to Nouméa. Only Qantas offers five flights a week to Brisbane and Sydney. WhileAir New Zealand has postponed its return to the archipelago until next October. The latter had suspended its traffic following last year's riots.
