Alcohol, drugs: the supposed bad reputation of business travellers

Alcohol, drugs, extramarital affairs: a study published by ON24 paints a bleak picture of the lifestyle of American business travellers, who are said to indulge in many excesses while on business trips. At least according to the general opinion, which systematically equates travelling with bad behaviour.

Sex, drugs and rock'n'roll: is the life of the business traveller less studious than we'd like to believe? A study published by Harris Interactive for ON24, a virtual meetings platform, paints a damning picture for American professionals. In fact, 66% of those surveyed believe that business travel rhymes with extramarital affairs, 71% with over-consumption of alcohol, and even 31% with drug use. Worse still, 53% of those surveyed believe that professionals eat fatty foods during their travels... These figures should be taken with due caution, as ON24 intends to denounce the supposed 'bad reputation' of business travel in order to promote its own virtual meetings.
