
We now know more about American Airlines' flight schedule for next summer. The US carrier has just unveiled three new transatlantic routes. The airport of Philadelphia will be connected to Budapest and Prague by Boeing 767-300. In addition, a Boeing 787-8 will operate between the hub of Chicago and Venicewhich was already linked to Philadelphia. These three new summer routes will start on 4 May. Operations will cease on 27 October. Ticket sales will begin on 21 August.
" Flights between Europe and the USA are particularly popular in the high summer season "says Vasu Raja, Vice President Network and Programme at American Airlines. " These new routes will enable our European and American customers to benefit from all the advantages offered by two of our most important hubs: Chicago and Philadelphia ".
In total, American Airlines and its partners in the transatlantic joint venture serve 23 destinations in Europe by non-stop flight with more than 130 daily departures.
