Colombia's national airline Avianca, the "old version", was present in Paris for decades. Its new incarnation, avianca, launched after covid, is now returning to the French capital. From 3 July, it will be launching five weekly flights to Bogota departing from Paris-CDG airport. The flight will be operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner and will leave Paris at 8.40am every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It will land at 12.40pm, offering connections to some fifty destinations in Colombia and the rest of Latin America. On the return leg, the flight will leave Bogotá at 1.25pm and land at 6.40am at Roissy every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The airline will offer an economy and business class, the latter having recently been modernised. Renamed "avianca Insignia", Business class offers a sleeper seat that reclines 180°. It also offers two in-flight meal services prepared by chef Alvaro Clavijo, one of South America's leading culinary figures.

In total, the Bogotá-based airline will now serve 26 countries, with Paris being the 76th.e destination of the carrier.
