Azul is Brazil's third largest airline on domestic routes.This represents 25% of all the airlines in the country. It is now turning its attention to the international market. From its base at Sao Paulo Viracopos International (Campinas), the carrier serves Florida, Uruguay and Lisbon.Azul has just confirmed its second flight to Europe. Azul to operate six weekly Airbus A350-900 frequencies between Orly and Sao Paulo Viracopos Campinas airport. The aircraft has a capacity of 334 passengers, divided into three classes. 33 in Azul Business Class, 118 in Azul Economy Extra and 183 in Azul Economy.
Flights depart from Orly at 22:15 every day except Wednesday. From Sao Paulo, flights will take off at 23:00 every day except Tuesday. Flights will become daily from 1 July. Tickets are already on sale. Azul will be competing with Air France and LATAMwith flights to Sao Paulo departing from Roissy CDG.
