With Bird Office, BNP Paribas experiments with free meetings in Paris

BNP Paribas is trialling a new service in Paris with Bird Office. The bank hires out some of its premises - branches and business centres - to its customers free of charge, so that they can organise meetings, training sessions or any other corporate event.

BNP Paribas teams up with Bird Office to transform its branches into meeting spaces

Bird Office is building a name and a network in the B2B market. After forging links with leading names in the events sector - in particular Eurosites, in May 2016 -then recently targeting key accounts with a dedicated offeringthe meetings & events booking platform is opening up to new horizons. Its catalogue has been expanded with the launch ofintegration of BNP Paribas infrastructures.

This partnership, described as an "experimentis to enable all bank customers - professionals and individuals - to book workspaces for their business events in Paris. Meetings, training courses, seminars, interviews, recruitment: the two partners are thinking big. The originality of the approach lies in its free for BNP Paribas customers - which adds up to quite a wide range. However, the doors of these meeting rooms are not closed to outside customers. Bird Office even promises a " attractive tariff (...) based on market prices as part of the experiment ". He added: " The money raised will go to charities ". The bank thus seems to be exploring new ways of exploiting its real estate resources against a backdrop of digitalising the banking offering.

By transforming its branches into places where people can live, meet and share, BNP Paribas is responding to the growing need of professionals for mobility, flexibility and a change of scene.

Several branches and business centres have been selected by BNP Paribas for this project. test phase, which will be limited to Paris. A page is now dedicated to this new offer on the Bird Office website. Once booked online, a BNP Paribas advisor is responsible for welcoming participants to the chosen site.
