With an investment of some 1.4 million euros, the new Business Travel Lab has already brought together a team of around fifteen employees in Barcelona, already recognised at the THack Hackathon organised on 19 November by the media company Tnooz. Product managers, data analysts, development engineers: these 'techno' profiles are expected to contribute to the development of applications designed to provide personalised support for business travellers - a priority already highlighted last October by Jordy Staelen - and generally to improve their experience at every stage of their trip. "The first solutions developed by the Business Travel Lab will see the light of day in 2015," says the co-founder of 3mundi. "For example, travellers will automatically benefit from a taxi or VTC reservation, a selection of restaurants at their destination and many other innovations to simplify their daily lives, reduce their stress and save them time," he adds.
