Located in the economic hub near Lyon-Bron business airport, the hotel of the future by offering guests a seamless, contactless and connected experience. This is the case even if a more traditional itinerary is still possible for customers who feel disorientated by the many innovations on offer in the hotel. For example, to reach the floors, you no longer need to touch the buttons, the lift can be called directly from a smartphone.
This is one of the 20 innovations on offer in the hotel, with the experience starting as soon as check-in is completed, as it should be, at a connected terminal. At the end of this procedure, guests are presented with a QR Code directing them to the Web App, the traveller's digital companion during their stay. While the establishment offers its guests an online concierge service, they can also personalise their latte or glass of beer using the latest technology. a foam printer which reproduces the motif or photo of its choice. The hotel's bar-restaurant is also connected, with a range of seasonal dishes available for click & collect or delivery, while room service is provided by a... robot.
All these developments are the fruit of Louvre Hotels' Global Innovation Center, the R&D platform shared between Paris and Shanghai. The Lyon-based establishment is also extending in Europe a high-tech path begun in China in 2017, with the opening of the Campanile Smart Hotel in Shanghai. But the "intelligent" side of Campanile Smart Lyon Bron is also reflected in its sustainable dimension, since innovation also serves the environment. The hotel is equipped with a Building Management System and room presence sensors to optimise energy consumption. In terms of soft mobility, the hotel offers free access to electric car charging stations installed at the hotel entrance. But the hotel also invites its guests to take part in its responsible approach, for example with its "suspended coffee" initiative, which consists of paying for two coffees, one for oneself and the other for a guest in need. The room key comes in a card holder sown with seasonal seeds to be planted by the customer themselves or by the establishment's teams. A fun way to contribute to biodiversity.
