
Delta is extending its transatlantic service for 2023 summer programme. The carrier has programmed an increase in capacity of 8 % in additional seats compared with summer 2022. " Next summer, Delta to offer customers even more popular destinations on both sides of the Atlanticcontinuing to consolidate its position as New York's number one carrier" said Joe Esposito, Delta's Senior Vice President of Network Planning. " With almost 620 weekly flights and connectivity to 32 destinations in Europe and beyond, customers will have a multitude of destinations to explore." he explains.
The most important new feature will be the return of a service between Geneva and New York JFK. The carrier will also offer connections from JFK to Berlin and London Gatwickbringing to 26 the number of destinations served with 220 weekly flights.
A Los Angelesthe company will be relaunching its daily service to Paris and will resume its daily service to London Heathrow, discontinued in 2015. Finally, from Atlanta, new routes to Düsseldorf, Edinburgh and Stuttgart are planned.
