DOSSIER - Lisbon: high-tech reconquista

Lisbon is on a roll! The Portuguese capital, which bore the full brunt of the 2008 crisis, has since cleaned up its economy by taking a new route: that of creativity and start-ups. Young entrepreneurs brimming with ideas - many of them French - have set about rethinking the codes of professional life in order to give the city a new lease of life. As a result, Lisbon is undergoing a major transformation. Former palaces are being transformed into confidential five-star hotels, and major business hotels are opening their doors. An attractive city for tourists, Lisbon invites international events thanks to the diversity of its infrastructure and the many activities on offer, from culture and gastronomy to the sea and mountains. So there's only one step from business to leisure. A very small one. Report by Cécile Balavoine - Photos by Ludovic Maisant
