EasyHotel is continuing to expand in France with a new establishment just outside Paris in Aubervilliers. The business channel, which shares the orange livery of the famous airline despite its separate destinies, had already landed in Nice in 2019, near the Palais des Congrès, then at the airport of Paris-CDG last year. In a few weeks' time, in March, the brand will be offering a 180-room hotel accessible by metro from the centre of the capital.
Located on the Place du Front Populaire, one of the stops recently added to line 12, the easyHotel Paris Nord-Aubervilliers is part of the emergence of a new district developed by Icade based on the following principles environmental standards. With BREEAM Very Good certification, the JUMP complex includes offices, a rooftop open to the public and a hotel, all within a stone's throw of the headquarters of the Organising Committee for the next Olympic Games, the Icade Portes de Paris service sector centre and Campus Condorcet, Europe's largest university centre for the humanities and social sciences.
With its contemporary design and minimalist offering that focuses on the essentials - quality bedding, breakfast room - the easyHotel Paris Nord-Aubervilliers embodies the brand's new establishments that are emerging in France and Europe. The easyHotel group aims to have around 100 hotels by 2026compared with just over forty today.
As part of this development, last year easyHotel acquired a portfolio of eight hotels in the Benelux countries - in the city centres of Amsterdam, The Hague, Maastricht, Rotterdam and Brussels - to add to its European network of low-carbon, affordable hotels. More recently, the orange brand has appeared in other major cities, including Dublin with a 160-room hotel in the central district of Smithfield.
Madrid, meanwhile, has recently welcomed a 230-room hotel close to Atocha station. While Spain is one of the priority countries in easyHotel's development strategy - almost 20% of the group's hotels will be located there - with others under construction in Valencia and Barcelona, in the Ciutat Meridiana district.
