easyJet muscling in on Air France's territory to attract premium passengers

easyJet is launching an original offer: a half-price subscription to easyJet Plus for Flying Blue members and Air France season ticket holders. This is enough to make the airline, which is being replaced by Transavia at Orly, grind their teeth.

Transavia's expansion at Orly, the low-cost subsidiary of Air France, is pushing easyJet to show more marketing aggressiveness to preserve its market share on domestic routes. The orange airline has thus announced an exclusive offer to Flying Blue member travellers, offering them a 50% reduction% on any new subscription to the membership. easyJet Plus (excluding renewal). This at best original proposal was launched on Tuesday 17 March 2026 and is valid until Tuesday 14 April 2026.

Transavia, a new spur to easyJet's marketing policy

EasyJet thus hopes to establish itself as a premium, reliable, and economical alternative offering. And which also offers numerous advantages to business travellers, the first targets of this marketing initiative.

Usually offered at a price of €289 for 12 months, the subscription easyJet Plus will be accessible for just €144. It grants access to benefits such as Speedy Boarding, a large cabin bag included, and free seat selection, allowing members to enjoy their favourite spot (window, aisle, or with extra legroom). The subscription even becomes profitable from just 5 single journeys made in a year.

At the airport, members benefit from a dedicated baggage drop-off desk and priority access to security checks (Fast Track) at major airports in the network.

Our members easyJet Plus also benefit from complete flexibility, including the option to take an earlier return flight on the same day at no extra cost, and a % reduction on all food and drink purchases on board, and preferential rates on car hire.

And because easyJet wishes to increase its number of subscribers, it is also offering a discount – this time of 25%– on easyJet Plus to all passengers. The special fare is also valid until 14 April, with an annual subscription costing €217. easyJet is offering up to 6 daily frequencies from Orly to Toulouse and up to 9 daily frequencies to Nice.
