After opening a residence in the Montmartre district last year, Edgar Suites is continuing to build on its success.
to expand its offering in the Paris region. Specialising intop-of-the-range urban aparthotelshas just opened a new branch in Montrouge, just a stone's throw from the Evergreen campus, Crédit Agricole's global headquarters.

Located next to the metro station and the town hall, the Montrouge - Jaurès residence is the result of conversion of a former office buildingThe new building has been given a contemporary makeover in collaboration with the interior design agency L.A.M Studio. The building's five floors now house 27 top-of-the-range flats ranging from 20 to 80 m² - equivalent to 67 hotel rooms - fully equipped for short, medium and long stays, with their own kitchens and cosy living areas.

A faltering office sector and a buoyant urban residential sector: these two opposing trends are benefiting this sector. founded in 2016 which now has 23 aparthotels in France. Describing itself as "the French leader in the transformation of office buildings into top-of-the-range hotel residences with an urban, design-led and committed approach", Edgar Suites launched the refurbishment of two professional buildings in May. in Levallois-PerretThe aim is to achieve BREEAM Excellent certification.

Re-designed by the AWGA architectural practice, this new residence on one of the town's main thoroughfares, rue Anatole France, is due to open in the second quarter of 2025 and will offer 25 flats ranging from T1 to T5. Another project of the same type in the pipeline for Edgar Suites is the conversion of the former headquarters of the Caroll clothing brand in the XVe arrondissement, rue du Hameau. It's the perfect location for business travellers, right next to the Porte de Versailles, and will feature 54 comfortable suites.

However, recycling office buildings at the end of their useful life is not the only way Edgar Suites has developed. Just as the Paris region is not the only vector for its growth. Already present in Lille Since the end of 2023, with the conversion of the former Faidherbe hotel, near Lille Flandres station and the city centre, into an urban residence, Edgar Suites will be adding a second address in mid-July. Here too, the location is ideal for business travellers, as it is right in the heart of the Euralille business district.

For this occasion, it's not a question of transforming an old professional building, but of integrating the brand alongside brand new offices, within the ShAKe complex. A hybrid space designed by architect Philippe Chiambaretta (PCA Stream), the 33,500 m² complex includes offices and coworking spaces, shops and sports centres, crèches and restaurants - including rooftop dining - and an Edgar Suites residence on the building's 4th floor.

In addition to Lille and Bordeaux, where the group has two residences, Edgar Suites will be discovering a new destination in mid-summer: the Côte d'Azur, with a first residence at Cannes. Just a stone's throw from the Croisette and the Palais des Festivals, on the rue d'Antibes, this new-generation aparthotel has revisited the former Hôtel de France in collaboration with the interior design agency Batiik Studio.

Instead of the hotel's 37 rooms, there are 10 flats with two or three bedrooms, or even four for the duplex suite with sauna, jacuzzi and 150 m² rooftop with sea views. " The Résidence Cannes has been designed and fitted out for a demanding bleisure customersboth nationally and internationallyexplains Xavier O'Quin, co-founder and Chairman of Edgar Suites. With its dynamic tourist industry and renowned cultural and professional events, Cannes is a destination that perfectly represents our concept." .
