Emirates continues to add new frequencies to its global network, with seat capacity up 31% year-on-year. With the introduction of its summer programme, the company is increasing its capacity, particularly in Asia and Australia. Europe and Africa are also benefiting from frequency upgrades.

Asia and Australia in the spotlight this summer
The summer programme is therefore in line with demand, in particular with the return of the A380 on many routes. With Asia fully reopened to the rest of the world, Emirates is in turn stepping up its presence on the continent. In its summer programme, the Dubai-based carrier will be offering a fifth daily flight to Bangkok (01/08); a second daily flight to Hong Kong via Bangkok (29/03); 3 daily flights to Kuala Lumpur, including one by Airbus A380 (01/06); 1 daily flight to Beijing (15/03), which will be operated by A380 from 1er May - A second daily A380 flight is scheduled for 1 May.er September -; 2 daily flights to Tokyo Haneda (02/04). Airbus A380s will also be deployed again to Shanghai (04/06), Taipei (01/08) and Tokyo-Narita (26/03). It should also be noted that Emirates has just signed an interline agreement with Philippine Airlines favouring passengers for connecting destinations.
In Australia, where Emirates is the second largest intercontinental carrier after Qantas, transport is returning to pre-pandemic frequencies. The airline will once again be offering two daily flights to Brisbane on 1 January.er June, three daily flights to Melbourne, including one via Singapore from 26 March. To Sydney, the airline will offer three daily frequencies (01/05) including an extended flight to Christchurch in New Zealand (26/03).
More frequencies to Africa and Europe
In Africa, Emirates is adjusting its capacity with increases to four destinations. Casablanca to see an Airbus A380 again (15/04). Dar es Salam in Tanzania will be increased to a daily flight (01/05) as will Entebbe in Uganda (01/07). Finally, between now and 29 October, Emirates will be increasing the number of weekly flights to Cairo from 25 to 28.
That leaves Europe, where Emirates gains momentum in London with 11 daily flights this summer. This includes a second daily flight to Stansted (01/06). London Heathrow will also benefit from six daily flights. It should also be noted that the airline is increasing the number of weekly flights to Amsterdam from 14 to 19 (09/04). Finally, in France, Lyon has once again benefited from a daily flight to Dubai since 1 June.er February. While Nice will be celebrating the return of the Airbus A380 on 1er June.
