Ethiopian Airlines continues to expand in Asia

Sharjah, then Hyderabad and Hanoi. Ethiopian Airlines is continuing to strengthen its Addis Ababa hub and is emerging as a reliable alternative for travellers wishing to reach Asia from Europe.

Ethiopian Airlines is confirming its dominance of air transport in Africa month after month. The airline, which is a member of Star Alliance, is in fact the only airline in sub-Saharan Africa to offer a global network with some 160 destinations domestic and international.

Among the new destinations served by the African giant, on 1 June Ethiopian inaugurated services to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. The flight is operated every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday by Boeing 737MAX.

On 16 June, the airline launched three weekly frequencies, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, to Paris.Hyderabad. This is the airline's sixth destination in India. The airline will serve this city with several aircraft models.

Finally, the10 July will see the launch of four weekly flights to Hanoi by Boeing 787 Dreamliner. These three new destinations connect with Ethiopian Airlines' routes to Europe. Including Paris, MarseilleBrussels and Geneva in French-speaking Europe.
