Etihad is strengthening its offer to London. From 27 October, the Abu Dhabi-based airline will be offering a fourth daily flight between the capital of the United Arab Emirates and Heathrow airport. This service will be offered by night from the British capital with a departure at 9.05pm for an arrival at 8.05am in Abu Dhabi, and in the middle of the day from the Emirates with a take-off at 1.40pm for a landing at Heathrow at 5.45pm. While the other three daily flights are operated in A380 equipped with luxurious Residences, this additional service will be operated by a two-class Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with 299 seats, including 28 Business Studios and 271 in Economy.
"The addition of a fourth flight a year will make it possible to achieve the necessary capacity and offer optimised schedules, as well as easy connections to key destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. This new service demonstrates our commitment to this crucial market and guarantees our customers all the benefits of a new-generation fleet on all 42 weekly departures to and from the UK."said Robin Kamark, Etihad's Commercial Director. The Emirati carrier also serves Manchester with two daily flights by Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
