The Hilton Group is to roll out its Signia by Hilton brand, focused on MICE events, in the EMEA region for the first time. Having appeared across the Atlantic in Atlanta, Orlando and San José, California, with Indianapolis in the pipeline, Signia will unveil its first address next January in Ammanin Jordan. This development will be the result of the takeover of the Kempinski hotel, which opened in 2005 and will be enhanced in 2019 with a vast conference centre.
Designed by architects Hirsch-Bedner and Associates, this state-of-the-art meeting venue will be the centrepiece of the establishment, with over 5,000 m² of meeting space which can accommodate up to 3,400 people. This makes the hotel a key address for top-level meetings and events in the Jordanian capital. A ballroom decorated with Swarovski chandeliers, a vast conference room, numerous meeting rooms: the facilities are divided into around twenty meeting spaces ranging from 30 to 1,000 m² to cater for all types of business meetings.
" We are proud to join forces with Hilton to bring the first Signia by Hilton property outside the United States in our regionsaid Monther Farah, Managing Director of Al Rabya Hotels, which owns the venue. From the outset of discussions, it was clear that the new luxury brand was a perfect match for the unique characteristics of our property." . " Amman's role as a central business hub for the region and its proximity to Jordan's cultural sites make Signia by Hilton an excellent choice for this destination and our first property outside the United States." said a delighted Teddy Berlin, Signia brand manager for the Hilton Group.
Located in Amman city centre, in the Shmeisani business district, the hotel does not only rely on its convention centre to attract business and leisure guests. The Signia by Hilton Amman also offers them a top-of-the-range setting with 272 rooms and suites and an executive lounge, as well as a host of options to enhance your stay. Seven restaurants and bars, including a grill by the outdoor swimming pool, a bowling alley, a spa, a fitness room: the hotel's offer goes far beyond MICE events.
