As one of the leading players in the glamping sector, the Huttopia group is extending its footprint into the hotel sector by taking on a new business. 34 % stake in Eleganciais the manager and designer of around twenty boutique hotels in Paris, all with a strong identity. These include the Chouchou with its pop spirit, the Seven with its seven glamorous suites and the OFF Paris Seine, the only floating hotel moored at the foot of Austerlitz station.

While these establishments are eminently urban in character, the merger between Huttopia and Elegancia aims to develop a hotel industry that is closer to nature and village life. Elegancia has been entrusted with the management of all current and future Hoscar Cafés-Hotels. Launched around ten years ago in Quebec, but also near Lyon, with the takeover of the bar-hotel Le Beaulieu in Charbonnières-les-Bains, this concept aims to create places to live and socialise in the heart of villages, in mountain resorts like Piau-Engaly in the Pyrenees, but also in more urban areas, as recently in Versailles.

The latest of the brand's four establishments, the café-hotel Le Bout du Parc is all about disconnecting from everyday life and reconnecting, with a friendly café-restaurant, hotel rooms and dormitories, and 30 wooden chalets in its grounds - glamping being the order of the day. There is also a MICE area that can accommodate 70 people. Drawing on its expertise, Elegancia will help to spread the idea of living spaces further. " We are now ready to deploy our expertise in the region and we are delighted to be joining forces with the Huttopia group, which is a strong and recognised player in the region." explained Alexandre Cayla, Chairman of Elegancia.

For Philippe Bossanne, chairman and founder of the Huttopia group, "This partnership will give us the team and the skills to develop our Café-Hotels and respond to the many proposals we receive from local players. Having enabled city dwellers to reconnect with nature, we're now going to try and encourage them throughout France, reconnecting people. This step is fully in line with our overall project, which for 25 years has consisted of showing that Man is enriched by contact with Nature, of which he is an integral part, as well as by the differences of others.".
