Located on the Katy Freeway, just minutes from Memorial City and the CityCentre shopping and entertainment complex, the Hyatt Regency Houston West is also within easy reach of the city's two airports. Enough to make it a key venue for business meetings to which the hotel devotes a great deal of space. In fact, it has 25 meeting rooms and a reception area of 25 000 m²including a vast 9,800 m² ballroom, the Texas Ballroom.
At a time when sustainable development is one of the major trends of the moment, this is also a 'green' hotel, at least in its atmosphere, with an atrium that looks like a tropical forest. On the food front, the Café on the Lake, nestling in the heart of the hotel's tropical atrium, offers seasonal dishes with a Texan flavour at any time of day. The Hyatt Regency Houston West is also adding a takeaway service at Over The Counter.
