The process of empowering business travellers is continuing. With a laudable objective, particularly for business travellers: saving time. Iberia has taken a further step in this direction with the launch of the MyBagTag service. Iberia has become the first airline to allow its passengers to print out the identification "tag" themselves, from home, to attach to their suitcase for check-in. Once they have checked that their baggage does not exceed the weight and size limits, business travellers can check in their suitcases themselves on the Iberia website after filling in the required information. The passenger then prints out the appropriate bar-coded document on a single sheet of paper, folds it into quarters and inserts it into a special pouch provided at the airport. The baggage identified in this way can then be scanned and quickly dropped off at the dedicated counters - 810-811 and 850-851 - at Madrid-Barajas airport.
