These organisations prepared for three intense days of business with several thousand invited buyers from all over the world, including new groups from Europe, the USA and Asia.
"What if? Imagination at the heart of our work
This year, imagination will be the central topic of discussion at IMEX. The show will feature dedicated content in the form of training and sharing experiences to invite organisers and exhibitors alike to question conventional approaches and explore new ones. In keeping with this theme, a a new hall called Discovery Zone will be making its debut, bringing together the latest developments in the field of technologies and experience, and also has a few surprises in store.
As always, learning remains at the heart of the IMEX experience, and this year's programme is packed full of workshops open to all, as well as a day dedicated to knowledge, EduMondaywhich will take place on Monday 20 May. EduMonday will kick off with a keynote speech at the She Means Business conferencecreated in partnership with tw tagungswirtschaft. After that, participants will have the choice of taking part in She Means Business for celebrating the role of women in the events sector or select sessions from a programme of 20 events devoted to professional or personal development.
Tailor-made learning
Event professionals from all sectors and all levels can explore the themes and trends of this year's event by attending one of our dedicated EduMonday meetings, all designed to appeal to every type of audience. Association professionals from all over the world are also invited to take part in Association Day and Evening Association to share best practice and meet their peers. L'Agency Directors Forum is the ideal opportunity to exchange strategy between small and medium-sized agencies dedicated to events and meetings. You can also take part in the learning and networking sessions at the Exclusively Corporate event, reserved for executives in charge of internal or inter-company events and meetings.
The power of the sector, a success worth celebrating
The events sector lives and breathes by the connections its players make, which is why a number of meetings and networking sessions are being organised throughout the show so that attendees can chat with their peers and make new contacts. Our attendees will be able to take part in the SITE Nite Europe charity evening, the @IMEX cim-clubbing evening, the #IMEXrun on the waterfront for early risers or the very elegant Gala Dinner, dedicated to the greatest success stories in the meetings sector.
