A German chain acquired by Melia in 2006, Innside is part of the the lifestyle and bleisure trend which has already conquered the heart of cities and is increasingly becoming a part of hotel development in airport areas. "With its attention to design, furniture and materials, this brand meets the expectations of new generations of travellers."says Enrique Ortiz, Vice President EMEA of Melia Hotels International. A first glimpse of its charcoal grey façade, designed by the architectural firm SCAU, sets the tone for a very contemporary hotel, with an interior design by Jean-Philippe Nuel.
The project is being carried out by Vinci, already a partner of the Spanish group for the construction of the Melia La DéfenseThe four-star hotel will have 267 rooms, including 11 suites, a bar-restaurant opening onto a terrace, a sports hall and a fitness room. a conference centre and meeting rooms. It will contribute to the growth of the hotel offer in the airport area. From 2,900 rooms at present, this is set to increase by a further 1,000 with the opening of the Innside by Melia, as well as a Holiday Inn Express and an Aloft/Element complex. "Roissy is an attractive place to live, and these establishments will make it even more so.underlines Augustin de Romanet, who points out that Roissy is "the world's largest airport city with 354,000 m2 of office and hotel space and soon to be 400,000 m2".
