From commuting by train to working from home, there's only a small step. And the recent partnership at the end of March shows us just that between International Workplace Group (IWG) and TGV LyriaThe two groups are teaming up to offer TGV Lyria passengers discounted access to IWG's coworking spaces. Nomadic professionals will be able to head to several Regus, Spaces, and Signature business centres located near French and Swiss train stations to work. The offer targets the approximately 5.7 million annual travellers who take the 17 daily return journeys connecting Paris with Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich, and Basel.
The device is part of the "New TGV Lyria Services" project, being rolled out gradually since January 2025. The aim is to enhance the travel experience beyond the journey itself.
The benefits of travel
As a reminder, the offer is structured into two tiers. "Premiere Signature" travellers benefit from one free hour in a selection of Regus, Spaces, and Signature locations, as well as a % discount on additional hours. "Premiere" and "Standard" customers, meanwhile, receive a % discount. This offer applies to day offices, co-working spaces, meeting rooms, and subscriptions, upon presentation of their ticket.
The spaces mobilised include, in Paris, Regus Gare de Lyon (a five-minute walk from the station) and several Spaces locations; in Switzerland, centres are accessible in Zurich Bahnhofplatz (a minute from the station), Lausanne Gare, Geneva and Basel.

Alongside this offer, which is being provided in partnership with Lyria, business travellers can also make use of new Regus workspaces in the Paris region. Since last month, two new sites have opened: one in the 17th arrondissemente arrondissement, with Regus Carré Monceau, and the other in Bagneux, in the Hauts-de-Seine region. The first offers 28 private offices and a six-person meeting room, and the second has 13 private offices and two meeting rooms.
IWG also announced in early April the signing of a new franchise in Lyon, near the airport and its TGV station, within the Hampton by Hilton. “Lyon is establishing itself as an essential economic hub in Europe, and our aim is to support this momentum by developing quality spaces to accommodate and satisfy the needs of a demanding professional clientele. We are confident in the partnership concluded with IWG and the Regus brand,” emphasised the management of the hotel group Dalofi.
Shared partners
This is not the first time IWG has done this. Today the partnership is with TGV Lyria, but yesterday it was with SmartLab. When we talk about yesterday, we're talking about June 2025, when an agreement between the two groups was signed for 10 years of collaboration. The aim was to open flexible laboratories to meet the growing demand from the scientific community.
A few years ago, it was Mobility, vehicle rental company, that joined forces with IWG. The coworking space group offered discounts of 10% to Mobility users wishing to use the workspaces.
