Previously recognised as a MICE booking platform, Kactus enters a new phase. The BtoB events specialist is looking to enhance its portfolio of key accounts - and probably even strengthen it - by broadening its scope. Large companies can now opt for à la carte support from a Kactus expert. Or they can even entrust the entire organisation to a Kactus expert, delegating the selection of service providers, the various requests for quotes, and price negotiations. A first for Kactus. Kactus is also diversifying into new services, particularly logistics and coordination. For example, Kactus can take charge of managing invitations and coordinating service providers.
Having focused in recent years on the online side of the business, and on consolidating its catalogue, Kactus now intends to move into the very heart of the event. Even if it means revising - at least in part - its model. " In addition to its technological expertise, Kactus also aims to support its customers in organising large-scale events, with à la carte support and more operated services (in particular logistics and coordination on the day of the event), says Arnaud Katz, CEO of Kactus. This evolution in our model will help Kactus to go beyond its role as a platform, but above all it will enable us to respond better to the needs of our key account customers. These customers have a wide range of needs, including major events, which we can now meet with our à la carte support and extended services. ".
When asked about the HR implications of such a move, Kactus management said that it had not been forced to initiate a specific recruitment plan, and was relying instead on internal reorganisation.
