Kenya: replacing visas with electronic travel authorisations (eTA)

Travellers planning a trip to Kenya can now benefit from the visa waiver system, which came into operation on 5 January.

Le Kenya starts the year 2024 with a new sign of openness to international travellers. Visit visa in force until now is being replaced by a electronic travel authorisation (eTA) with a view to simplifying arrivals. The first beneficiaries were welcomed on 5 January.

This system is based on a dedicated platform, accompanied by a mobile application. It is also specified that requests made via third-party sites will not be accepted.
